Set your sign-on date, opening balance, and monthly rates once. The app builds a month-by-month schedule from there — up to 24 months, or until you sign off.
Every month's earnings — basic, overtime, leave pay, leave subsidy, bonus — are automatically prorated by your days worked ÷ 30. Change the days, and the totals recalculate.
Travel and hotel days before sign-on and after sign-off are paid at your basic daily rate and added to the correct month automatically.
Multiple allotment entries with per-entry currency (USD or PHP) and exchange rate. MPO tracked the same way. Totals roll up in both currencies.
Slop chest, Danish pension, cash advance, fixed remittances, and other deductions — all itemized. Leave pay is set aside and tracked as a running vacation balance.
Each month's balance carries to the next automatically. Add a mid-contract opening balance if you joined an existing voyage, and everything reconciles.

Sea Wages does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
All information you enter — ship name, contract details, monthly rates, allotments, deductions, and every other figure — is stored only on your device using local storage. Nothing is sent to any server, ever.
Specifically, the app does not:
Data deletion. All your data lives in your device's local storage. You can clear it at any time by tapping Reset all data inside the app's settings, or by clearing app data through your device's system settings. Uninstalling removes it completely.
Because Sea Wages does not collect any data, no deletion request or email is necessary. If you have questions, contact support@portside.work.
Sea Wages is a personal wage tracker. It is designed to help seafarers keep a clear record of their earnings, deductions, and remittances over the course of a contract.
It is not an official payroll system. Sea Wages does not replace:
Data accuracy. All figures, balances, and totals are derived entirely from the numbers you enter and the exchange rates you set. Always cross-check your tracker against your actual payslips and bank statements.
